Blues Plugged by Passeau, Bison, 4-0 Wednesday, August 8th , 2001 Claude Passeau of the Buffalo Bison toyed with the St. Louis Blues, as he shut them out, 4-0, at Robison Field. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 5-hitter with 12 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Passeau said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." This year, Passeau has recorded a 7-8 mark. In 16 starts he has fanned 105 batters in 122 innings with a 4.87 ERA. |
