Expos Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Toronto Friday, August 17th , 2001 Jason Schmidt of the Toronto Maple Leafs was lights-out while 5-hitting the Montréal Expos. "I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go," he told BNN reporters after the contest. Schmidt registered 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in shutting out Montréal, 7-0. In 21 starts this season, Schmidt has notched a 8-6 record and a 5.56 ERA. |
