Fox Sizzles -- Smokes X Giants for 5 Hits Saturday, August 18th , 2001 Nellie Fox was the King of Swing at Ponce de Leon Park in the 13-4 Orlando Rays win over the Atlanta X Giants. The Orlando second baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Atlanta and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Nellie Fox singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Rincón in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
