Season Over for Barrett Sunday, September 2nd , 2001 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Las Vegas Aces: reliever Red Barrett is out for the year. Barrett suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 08/29/2001. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. So far this year, Barrett has been credited with 1 save, registered a 8.87 ERA and struck out 60 in 69 innings. He also has a 1-9 record. |
