Led by an outstanding performance from starter Tom Sullivan, the Queens Kings topped the Hartford Dark Blues by a score of 3-2 at Shea Stadium. The 27-year-old Sullivan brought his top game to the mound, striking out 17 batters while allowing 5 hits and giving up 4 walks.

"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Dark Blues manager Ezequiel Rosario said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."

In 25 starts this season, Sullivan has notched a 9-13 record and a 6.19 ERA.
