Blues Move on to Round 3 Sunday, September 23rd , 2001 The St. Louis Blues have eliminated the Hartford Dark Blues and are off to the Round 3. St. Louis won the final game by a 4-3 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Steve Evans, who was named series MVP. For the series, Evans hit .455 with a .571 on-base percentage. He drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs. The St. Louis Blues don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Louisville Redbirds - Orlando Rays series. Orlando leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
