Louisville-Seattle Fight Results in Suspensions Thursday, April 11th , 2002 After an intense confrontation, both the Redbirds Paul Waner and the Rainiers Joe Hoerner were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Louisville-Seattle game. Paul Waner will miss 4 games, while Joe Hoerner was suspended for 8 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Paul Waner commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." |
