They came up empty when it mattered against Las Vegas Aces right-hander Mike Scott, who scattered 6 hits across 9 innings and held the Expos scoreless. "We had 6 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Montréal manager Ignacio Macias said later. Scott chalked up 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 6-0 Aces win. |
