Great Week for Las Vegas's Elmer Smith Monday, April 22nd , 2002 It was an extraordinary week for Elmer Smith of the Las Vegas Aces. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .545, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the WBL Triple A. Last week Smith went 12-for-22, racked up 1 home run and 9 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Las Vegas left fielder. |
