Trappers Bush Has 15 Ks Thursday, July 13th , 2000 Salt Lake City Trappers starter Bullet Joe Bush brought his best stuff to Oaks Park today against the Oakland Oaks, striking out 15 batters in his club's 5-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 29-year-old Bush gave up 4 hits in his 8.2 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Currently Bush has a 11-7 won-lost record in 19 starts with a 2.76 ERA.
