HIA Premier Player Picked Monday, July 31st , 2000 Tom York went on a week-long batting spree against High Indy American pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy. The Durham left fielder battered the opposition for 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 4 runs. He hit .381 and posted a .500 on-base percentage. Thus far this year York has hit .281 with 20 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
