Calgary First Baseman Best HIA Rookie Tuesday, August 1st , 2000 Freddie Freeman's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Calgary first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .327 with 5 doubles, 1 triple and 12 home runs. Freeman also scored 27 times and drove in 36 runs. Freeman is currently batting .341 with 43 home runs and 103 RBIs. |
