July's #1 HIN Rookie Named Tuesday, August 1st , 2000 Joe Lis of the Dallas Longhorns went on a month-long hitting streak against High Indy National pitching and hauled in the Rookie of the Month award for July. He batted .308 and collected 32 hits, 13 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Lis is currently hitting at a .283 pace with 34 home runs and 102 RBIs. |
