2000 HIN Batting Crown Goes to Woodling Monday, August 14th , 2000 Gene Woodling, the 39-year-old left fielder of the Denver Bears, is the High Indy National batting champion for 2000. His .340 mark bested all the other HIN hitters and got his name in the record book. Woodling had quite a year, finishing with 72 RBIs, 78 runs, 21 doubles, no triples, and 22 home runs. |
