Dodgers Spank Marcos, 16-0 Tuesday, July 4th , 2000 Danny Cox of the Nashua Dodgers humiliated the Dayton Marcos at Holman Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Dayton manager Danny Romanowski, after the game. Cox whiffed 14 and walked 1 in the 16-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Cox said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In 9 starts this season Cox has crafted a 4-1 record with a 3.77 ERA.
