Corpus Christi, Richmond Trade Players Monday, July 31st , 2000 After a week of negotiations, the Hooks and Flying Squirrels have come to terms on a deal that will send 24-year old minor league RHP Brian Fisher to Richmond for 39-year old minor league RHP Gerry Staley. Fisher has taken the mound for 19 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 5-0 record with a 6.90 ERA. The Richmond reliever has limited opposing batters to a .306 batting average. |
