Injury Derails Season for Bunker Monday, August 7th , 2000 Wally Bunker had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a ruptured disc on 08/06/2000. Today he received word from the Greensboro doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. To date this year Bunker has saved 0 games while tossing 21.1 innings. He has a 5.91 ERA, fanned 27 batters and made 10 relief appearances. |
