Foltynewicz Snags AMA Top Hurler Trophy Friday, September 1st , 2000 When Michael Foltynewicz took the hill in August, he was in charge. The Canton starter never let the WBL Mid American batters get a foothold against him. For his peerless performance, he came away with an impressive 5-0 record and the Pitcher of the Month award. The talented Terriers hurler made 5 starts, worked 40.1 innings, permitted 21 base hits, and struck out 64 while putting up a 1.56 ERA.
