Canton Rookie Reels in Reward in August Friday, September 1st , 2000 Last month was a very successful month for Michael Foltynewicz of Canton. So successful that he has been honored as the Rookie of the Month in the WBL Mid American. Foltynewicz shut down league hitters in fine fashion, rounding out August with an impressive 5-0 mark and 1.56 ERA in 5 starts with 64 strikeouts in 40.1 innings. This year Foltynewicz has worked 118 innings with 154 strikeouts en route to a 11-3 record and a 3.28 ERA. |
