Towers Tames Witches 3-0, 17 Ks Sunday, September 10th , 2000 Canton got the best of the Wichita Witches today at Lawrence-Dumont. They won the game 3-0 behind the fine pitching of Josh Towers, who totaled 17 strikeouts in a sensational outing. Towers notched the victory by holding the Witches to 3 hits, while giving up no walks. To date this season Towers sports a 11-5 mark with a 2.89 ERA in 17 starting assignments.
