AMA's Top Player Named Monday, September 11th , 2000 His teammates, fans, peers and even the BNN sportswriters all agreed that Chris Davis was worthy of the WBL Mid American Player of the Week Award. During the week the Des Moines first baseman compiled a .423 batting average (11-for-26) with 4 home runs, 14 runs batted in and scored 6 runs. Currently Davis is hitting .269 and has collected 37 home runs, 94 RBIs and scored 74 times, while playing in 102 games. |
