Demons Win WBL Mid American INDY A - Midwest Crown Tuesday, September 12th , 2000 There's still a ways to go before the WBL Mid Indy regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the WBL Mid American INDY A - Midwest. The Des Moines Demons have easily clinched the division crown, their 1st as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said first baseman Chris Davis. Team manager Mark Hoffstatter said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where Des Moines will be looking for its 1st WBL Mid Indy championship. |
