Ottawa Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Ottawa Mounties took Homestead pitcher Cliff P Lee's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Hilltop Park. The final score had Ottawa getting past the Grays, 9-7. Lee went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. Bryn Smith snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Michael Jackson suffered the loss. Ottawa is now 49-52, Homestead 54-46.

Ottawa got a knockout punch from Roberto Alomar. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Alomar.
