Corpus Christi right fielder Ned Harris contributed to his team's 4-3 win over the Armstrong's Secret Nine. Harris, who is tied for 5th in the ARA in home runs with 42, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hooks. Earning his 13th save for Corpus Christi was Dick Hyde. The Hooks, at 47-18, have now won 5 straight.
Corey Hart, who is rated as the 24th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Corpus Christi with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
After the game, Corpus Christi manager Mike Hagee applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
