Judges Rough Up Traveling All Stars, 13-2
|
A 5-RBI performance from the 27-year old right fielder Jason Lane helped the Pine Bluff Judges beat the Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars, 13-2. Pine Bluff pitcher Nate Karns got the win. He's now 5-2. Alex Kellner was tagged with the loss. Bingo Long's has now lost 10 consecutive games.
Lane contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Pine Bluff in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Lane took a curveball from Alex Kellner and stroked the home run to left. His 41st home run of the season allowed the Judges to leap in front, 3-2.
"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Nick Hannan, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
