Bingo Long's Nerve Tested in 5-4 Win
|
The Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars topped the Kenosha Comets by a score of 5-4. Leading the way was first baseman Wayne Belardi. Belardi was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Traveling All Stars. The Traveling All Stars now have a record of 23-48.
With the game on the line, Joel Youngblood came to bat in the bottom of the ninth. And the Bingo Long's center fielder came through, cracking a run-scoring single off Red Barrett, the Kenosha pitcher.
"Enough drama for you?" winked Traveling All Stars manager Nick Hannan after the game.
