The Camagüey Toros beat the Green Bay Bullfrogs, 7-6, at Big Top Stadium. The win was due in part to designated hitter Buck Martinez, who was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Jared Hughes converted his 10th save in 11 tries. Green Bay now has a 8-game losing streak.

Camagüey needed the clutch hitting of Jackie Hernandez to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Toros on top, 7-5. For the game, Hernandez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"This losing is getting old," said Green Bay manager Frank Howard.
