Bob Tewksbury pitched well, but his team, the Pine Bluff Judges, still dropped a 2-1 decision to the Lynchburg Hillcats at Bank of the James Field. Lynchburg now has a 3-game win streak.

Ernie Sulik had a big solo home run for the Hillcats in the bottom of the second inning. With Lynchburg leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from Bob Tewksbury and swatted a home run to right. It was his 14th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hillcats ahead, 2-0.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Sulik told the Lynchburg Today.
