|
Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars starter Roger Nelson pitched a strong game against the Lynchburg Hillcats at Bank of the James Field, leading the Traveling All Stars to victory, 6-4. Nelson went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 5, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-9. The win makes Bingo Long's 27-63, nothing to write home about.
Jim French had a key at-bat for Bingo Long's. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, the 27-year-old catcher hit a 2-run home run.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," French said.
