Narron HR-Happy in 6-3 Win
The Roanoke Magicians dumped the Pine Bluff Judges, 6-3, in large part due to catcher Jerry Narron. On the day, Narron belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Magicians. Roanoke reliever Henry Rodriguez picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Jaime Navarro was tagged with the loss. Dustin Hermanson converted his 7th save in 8 tries.

There was more than one reason the Magicians beat the Judges, but Narron's big at-bat in the bottom of the eighth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 6-3 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Narron told the Roanoke Daily News.

Roanoke raised its record to 50-46 with the win.
