Traveling All Stars Suffer 4-2 Loss to Camagüey
|
Camagüey rode a decent outing from starter Mike Sirotka to victory over the Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars. The final score was 4-2. Sirotka got the win, improving to 5-5. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. Sirotka allowed no runs. Joe Hesketh converted his 5th save in 12 tries.
Elmer Miller had a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With the bases loaded, the Camagüey first baseman hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, and led to the win.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Sirotka.
The last-place Traveling All Stars have dropped 4 straight games.
