The Armstrong's Secret Nine and Havana Sugar Kings completed their game despite the rain.

Havana got a terrific game from left fielder Ernie Koy. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Armstrong's, 6-4. Koy belted 3 home runs. With the win, the Secret Nine sit at 59-35.

The Sugar Kings had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Secret Nine going into the top of the 11th inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old third baseman Roy Howell came to the plate. Howell hit a 2-run home run on a full count curveball from Havana hurler Ramon Lopez. It was Howell's 47th home run of the year.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Howell. "I like it."
