Spirited fans greeted the Galveston Black Pirates for their clash with the Lynchburg Hillcats.

Justin Smoak knocked in 4 runs to help Lynchburg beat Galveston, 8-4. Smoak produced 1 single and 1 home run. Lynchburg now has a record of 59-37 with the win.

Smoak delivered in the top of the ninth inning for Lynchburg. With the game tied and the bases loaded, the first baseman hit a grand slam home run to right-center.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Lynchburg skipper Andrew Lantsman.
