Portsider Helps Roanoke to 4-1 Win
|
The Roanoke Magicians got a strong performance from pitcher John Lannan, who stymied the Kenosha offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Roanoke Ballpark. Roanoke raised its record to 53-47 with the win.
Lannan tossed 118 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Magicians. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.
"It was a good effort all around," said Lannan.
