The Havana Sugar Kings weathered an outstanding game by Camagüey right fielder Walt Moryn to topple the Toros, 6-5. Moryn belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win gives the Sugar Kings a record of 29-76.

Ernie Koy came through for the Sugar Kings in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Havana trailing 3-2, the left fielder had a 2-run single.

"Nice to get this one," said Koy. "Wins have been hard to come by."
