Judges Go 10 Innings to Beat Kenosha, 2-1
|
Starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez had a solid game. He was a big reason the Pine Bluff Judges throttled the Kenosha Comets, 2-1. Earning the save was Anthony Varvaro. He's now cashed in 21 of 24 save opportunities. The Comets, at 39-68, have lost 4 straight games.
Jimenez lasted 9 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The Pine Bluff right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the ARA in wins with 10, is now 10-6.
"We were in it," said Kenosha manager Randy Del Giudice. "We just didn't score enough runs."
