A good time was had by all at Bingo's Temporary Park & Shelter, where the Galveston Black Pirates and Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars tangled.

Bingo Long's Traveling All Stars starter Al Benton was on his game, helping his team beat the Galveston Black Pirates, 3-2. Mike MacDougal picked up the win in relief for Bingo Long's, while Kurt Kepshire took the loss.

Dan Uggla, who is on pace to hit 47 home runs this season, helped out the Bingo Long's cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Benton told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."

The win makes Bingo Long's 33-73, nothing to write home about.
