Robin Hoods Top Potomacs, 2-1, Behind Dobson
|
The Moose Jaw Robin Hoods went home winners at Ross Wells Ball Park, thanks in large part to starter Chuck Dobson. Dobson stifled the D.C. Potomacs, enabling Moose Jaw to grab the 2-1 win. The save went to Brad Ziegler, his 9th this season. The win lifted the Moose Jaw record to 25-20.
Dobson's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 10 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 6 hits. Dobson, who is rated as the 98th best prospect by BNN, goes to 5-2 on the year with 78 strikeouts.
"Tough loss," said D.C. manager John Parzych. "But we'll learn from it."
