Birmingham Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Rickwood Field.

The performance of Hank Aaron proved critical in helping Birmingham beat Houston, 3-2. The Black Barons right fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs. The current losing streak for Houston has reached 4 games.

J P Arencibia was the walk-off hero for Birmingham. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Barons catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Arencibia said.
