The Bozeman Bucks reigned over the London Werewolves in damp conditions.

The Bozeman Bucks defeated the London Werewolves, 7-6, at Tecumseh Park. Bozeman catcher Dick Brown had a superb performance. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Bozeman reliever Tex Clevenger picked up the win, while Ron Taylor took the loss for London. Bill Posedel was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

Bozeman needed the clutch hitting of Tom McCreery to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bucks on top, 7-6. For the game, McCreery had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said London manager Mike Kruger. "But we decided not to take it."
