Thielman leads offense to Power Bucks Offense
|
Bozeman Bucks starter Henry Thielman was in fine form as he helped his team beat the Philadelphia Pythians, 2-0. In 8 innings, Thielman surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. Joe Battin was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 4 save opportunities.
Dick Brown tagged a home run off Denny Lemaster in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Bucks on top, 1-0. In all, Brown had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Bucks manager Jorge Mendez. "This one was nice to get."
Bozeman, with the win, is 17-51.
