Led by an outstanding performance from starter Ervin Santana, the Moose Jaw Robin Hoods topped the Philadelphia Pythians today by a score of 6-0 at Ross Wells Ball Park. The 30-year-old Santana brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up 1 walk.

"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Pythians manager Marc Bentley said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."

Up to now Santana has recorded a record of 5-7. In 16 starts he has fanned 147 batters in 93.1 innings with a 6.08 ERA.
