The Birmingham Black Barons and New York Gothams completed their game despite the rain.

A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Ryan Braun, who is on pace to hit 57 home runs this season, led the Birmingham Black Barons to a win over the New York Gothams, 12-10. The 4th-place Black Barons have won 5 in a row.

With Birmingham leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Braun hit a fastball from Juan Marichal for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Black Barons ahead, 5-0.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Braun told the Birmingham Today.
