Boeckel Helps Kokomo Outscore London
Tony Boeckel added some punch to the Kokomo offense, helping them outmuscle the London Werewolves, 14-10. In the game, Boeckel, who is tied for 9th in the ARN in triples with 2, was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 2. At 38-39, Kokomo is in 4th place in the WBL Rook National INDY RN - West.

Kokomo used the timely hitting of Elmer Smith to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Jackrabbits on top, 11-10. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Kokomo manager Kyle Thomson.
