Kokomo Municipal Stadium was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits beat the Philadelphia Pythians, 8-7, at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. The win was due in part to second baseman Darwin Barney, who was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win makes Kokomo 41-42.

With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, Barney delivered for Kokomo. That's when he hit a run-scoring single off Jim Roland, to win the game.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Barney.
