London got a valiant performance from pitcher Josh Outman, but it wasn't enough to beat the D.C. Potomacs. D.C. won the game, 3-2. Outman threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. The WBL Rook National INDY RN - Northeast-leading Potomacs are 50-36.

In the bottom of the tenth, Horace Clarke had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a solo home run to right off London pitcher Oliver Drake.
