Kokomo picked up a win at Kokomo Municipal Stadium, toppling the D.C. Potomacs, 6-4. Pitcher James McDonald was one of the reasons the Jackrabbits triumphed. The third-place Jackrabbits have won 8 in a row.

Lenny Faedo had a big 2-run home run for the Jackrabbits in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Kokomo leading 3-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from Steve Renko and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jackrabbits ahead, 5-0.

"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Kyle Thomson.
