Pythians Win Nail-Biter
The Philadelphia Pythians scored a tight 6-5 win versus the Bozeman Bucks at Recreation Park. Philadelphia pitcher George Brunet held his own in the contest. Dana Eveland, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The triumph puts Philadelphia at 51-51 for the season.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the tenth, Joe Gerhardt had a chance to end it. Bozeman pitcher Trevor Bauer had other ideas. But with one out, Gerhardt hit a solo home run. The Pythians had the win.

"This place was electric at the end," Gerhardt said.
