Andrew Benintendi did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks from losing, 7-3, to the Staten Island Yankees at Loretta French Park. Early in the game, designated hitter Sam Bowens had a 3-run home run for Staten Island. It was his 54th home run of the season and put the Yankees on top, 3-0.
