Chinooks Upend Werewolves, 4-1
The London Werewolves got a superb performance from pitcher Marco Estrada, but the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks still won the game, 4-1. Estrada threw 9.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Reliever John Gaddy picked up the win. His record improves to 6-2. Marco Estrada took the loss. Clint Rogge recorded the save, making him 9 for 15.

Chugiak-Eagle River took the lead with no one out in the top of the seventh when Andrew Benintendi stroked a solo home run. That made the score 2-1 in favor of Chugiak-Eagle River. For the day, Benintendi went 1 for 4 with a home run.

"We put together a nice win," Benintendi said.

With the victory, the Chinooks upped their record to 65-42.
